NEW FILM FEST DEBUTS IN TORONTO
Toronto is host to fantasy fans from around the world this weekend, (Nov. 4-6) as the Fantasy Worldwide International Film Festival launches its inaugural event.
The three-day festival, will showcase Moongirl and 30 other films from six continents at Toronto's Bloor Cinema (just a short walk from the Markham St. Suspect Video store) . The lineup includes feature-length films, documentaries, animation, shorts and "a kaleidoscope of talent," says festival founder Johanna Kern.
The festival brings under one roof Mythology, Mysticism, Science Fiction, Magical Realism, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Legend and Archetype - although no Horror (at least this year).
